It’s a good idea to do your research on wine. I found this little gem, a Pico Maccario Lavignone Barbera d’Asti 2021, at my local wine shop for less than $20. It appears at number 36 on The Wine Spectator’s “Top 100 Wines of 2023”:

Arzak

Arzak is one of the three three-Michelin-starred restaurants in San Sebastian, Spain, and is also number eight on Restaurant magazine’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. The best part is that it’s a mom-and-pop establishment that has been in business for four generations; and the daughter was named the Veuve Clicquot World’s Best Female Chef in 2012.
